Brady Wayne Fox (he/him) originally hails from small town Southeastern Oklahoma, grew up learning the lessons of the Bible from Montessori inspired Godly Play stories in Sunday School and in between asking what was for lunch after church and drawing on the inside of hymnals would loudly practice the liturgy alongside the Pastors who he grew up with. He is humbled and honored by the opportunity to serve his first call as the Pastor of First Lutheran starting on September 14th, living out the vocation that the Holy Spirit has insisted that he's called to. He braved the wilds of the far flung North and received a Bachelor's of Religion from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa in 2023, before going on to serve as Seminarian Intern and Vicar of Peace Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas for two years while finishing his last stint of Seminary mostly online at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa in May of 2025. He loves a bad movie, a good joke, a great book, and an amazing song. He is passionate about four part harmony singing, God's plan to reconcile all things, and whatever historical topic he's thinking about at any given moment. His five year plan is to learn the fiddle, listen to more music, and find the Holy Grail. A true blue extrovert, he relishes the opportunity to talk anyone's ear off, and the honor of hearing the story of all who are willing to share it. He feels closest to God when taking Holy Communion and sharing in conversation with the Body of Christ (that's you). His favorite parts of ministry are intergenerational and small group ministry, preaching, stewarding the Sacraments, curating a good liturgy, and honoring our extraordinary God as we go through the ordinary passages of life. One of his favorite portions of Scripture is Acts 10. Brady looks forward to hosting folks and welcomes them to visit during office hours from (times) on (dates), or by appointment starting September 2nd. You'll be able to reach him at (phone number and extension) or at (email). He'll move to Temple with his beloved record collection soon.
